Michael Beasley was the only Knick with the nack tonight. Beasley heard MVP chants in the 3rd quarter and finished the game with 18 points (7/13 shooting) and 9 rebounds.
After leading the Knicks to a come from behind victory against the Pelicans, Porzingis struggled against the Spurs. The Knicks star seemed a step slow all night and finished the game with just 13 points on 5/19 shooting. Porzingis also finished with a team worst -13 +/-.
- Rarely used reserved Ramon Sessions and Willy Hernangomez both saw 4th quarter action.
- The Spurs outshot the Knicks 34 to 18 at the free throw line.
- The Knicks held the Spurs to 37.8% shooting but shot just 40.2% from the field.
The next travel to our nations capital tomorrow night to take on the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have been streaking since the return of John Wall, but the Knicks will hope to get back to .500 with a road win.
