After an inconsistent stretch over the last few weeks Kyle O'Quinn had a strong game scoring an efficient 9 points on 4/5 shooting and adding 8 rebounds. O'Quinn had a team best +9 +/-.
The enigma that is Michael Beasley came down to earth a bit after a few weeks of stellar play. Beasley had just 6 points on 3/9 shooting and committed 2 turnovers in just 15 minutes.
- Doug McDermott had a forgettable game in his first start as a New York Knick scoring 3 points on 1/6 shooting.
- After struggling over the last four games Ron Baker did not play.
- Frank Ntilikina fouled out after a solid all around game. Ntilikina had 6 points 5 rebounds 4 assists 1 steal and 1 block.
The Knicks will travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs tomorrow night. Given the state of the two teams over the last few years it may surprise some that the Knicks have won 5 of their last 10 games against the Spurs. The Knicks will hope to capture some of that success in a tough road game.
