This game was way more exciting than it needed to be. The Knicks squandered a 23 point in an 8 minute span to start the 3rd, but tightened up their defense and made their free throws down the stretch to come away with the win.
Jake and Greg talk about signs of life shown by the Knicks as they start to turn around their season. The Knicks brushed off a tough loss the Celtics to win their first two games of the year, including a big win over the defending Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
Los Knicks were absolutely en fuego as they took down the defending Eastern Conference Champs. Cleveland looks like they are sleepwalking through the start of the season, while the Knicks were led by the two-headed monster of Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr who combined for 66 points.
I knew we weren't going winless this year, but it's good to know that we're not going winless this year. This was a big win for the Knicks as they have a tough upcoming schedule and came into the game as the only team in the league without a win. The offense looked good, the defense looked great, and Frank looks like he's got a bright future ahead of him.
Tom, Jake and Kevin dive deep into all the goings ons from Week One: Gordon Hayward's injury, the Warriors' 2-2 start, the Phoenix Suns' debacle and much more!
Well, at least Jarrett Jack got a chance to get some exercise. This one was bad, got worse, and stayed there. We knew the Knicks were going to be bad and it will take time for everyone to settle into their new roles but it would be nice to see some signs of life.
Jake and Greg talk about the ups and downs of a tough opening to the 2017-18 season for the New York Knicks. Kristaps looks good! Everyone else... not so much.
The Knicks were in it until the end and very well could have won this game. There's a mix of emotions because we want these guys to play well but a loss is probably better in the long run.
This was actually fun for a little while. The Knicks were moving the ball, playing D and were in the game. But alas, this is the Knicks. A couple tough no calls, a couple technical, and a couple OKC buckets and that was that.
