Tom, Jake, and Greg give a preview and talk about the big storylines of the 2017 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
Being a Knicks fan is pretty tough. A "storied franchise" that plays in "The Mecca of Basketball" has not won a championship since 1973. With two finals appearances in the 90's and only one team with 50+ wins in the past two decades, The New York Knicks have been a laughing stock more frequently than a contender.
The Washington Wizards wrapped up their season with a 115-105 loss to the top-seeded Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It was a tough ending to an up and down season for the team. After opening the season 2-8, the Wizards were able to turn things around and grab the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference, finishing with a record of 49-33. While the Wizards seemed to be on the uptick for much of the season, they came up short in the second round and will be looking to make some upgrades in the offseason.
While the Washington Wizards field one of the most formidable starting fives in the NBA, their bench leaves a lot to be desired. So far in their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup with the Boston Celtics, their bench issues have reared their ugly head and proven costly.
